New FCC Approvals
New Releases
Below are phones that have recently
been approved by the FCC.
The FCC is a branch of the U.S. government that
must approve all radio-transmitting devices before they can legally be
sold for use in the United States. Therefore, the phones listed below
have recently
cleared an important milestone toward potentially being released in
the U.S., although the time between FCC approval and
market release varies greatly for each phone.
Some model names on this page may be internal code names only, not final marketing names.
Not all phones approved by the FCC are listed on this page. For example, many phones intended only for other countries are approved by the FCC so they can legally be used to roam on US networks. We often do not list such phones here.
There are also cases where we may list phones here when we cannot determine if the phone is US-bound or not. Therefore not all phones listed here are definitely intended for the US.
